Best Nail Salons in Fairfax, VA

In nowadays world we all understand the importance of networking – Facebook, Google+, Instagram – they all let us identify our fields of interests and interact with people on common subjects. However, we become more and more involved into local networks, sharing our experiences and seeking each other’s advice as for nearby services and products. For this purpose we would like to introduce our dear clients to Prolase Networking, where we will be giving our honest and unbiased advice in the field that includes, but is not limited to local beauty services and products that our customers would recommend, considering their experience.
Today we would like to give an overview on the best Nail Salons in Fairfax, VA area, as this service is very topical for 95% of our customers, employees and friends.
#3 Heaven Nail & Spa
According to our clients feedback, the spa does great overall job. Cuticles are removed quickly and correctly, with minimal occurrence of injury. Some of the technicians do art, which is a great bonus, however, they charge additional $5 per nail for that. If you pay cash, you get additional 5% off. Most clients note excellent level of service, and were offered hot and cold beverages at their arrival. Technicians take time to give you hand and also neck massage at the end, as pleasant bonus. Salon has a private parking lot and that’s very convenient.
Disadvantages that our clients would mention are: some of the new staff members might seem somewhat inexperienced; this salon is pretty booked, so it won’t work for a short-notice appointment; their services are pretty pricey, especially if you are adding art, it may bring you to $50-75 for manicure only.
#2 Joanne’s Nail Design
Most of our customers recommend to book them in advance, however, a few also noted that they were able to walk-in or make a short-notice appointment, which was a great advantage. They do good job on cuticles and overall nail. Massage pedicure chairs and hot stone massage are really nice additions to the service. One of their biggest advantages comparing to other salons is their membership program: with it you get your own membership box with your own tools (!), and it also gives you 5% from each visit towards your future service, so at some point you can get a free session – nice! Plus you can get 5% off additionally, if you pay cash.
Disadvantages: the salon is sometimes hard to reach; wait time may be longer than expected due to overbooks; prices are higher than average; new staff members may not be experienced enough; despite the name of the salon, they don’t do much of nail design or art.
#1 Jin Nail and Spa
This little salon is really cozy and welcoming. First of all, customer service is on very high level. Appointments are easy to make and they have good availability for walk-ins. They also include hot stone, shoulder and foot massage into their manicure and sugar scrubbing into their pedicure service. The nail technicians are very responsive to requests and try to do exactly as requested. Prices are very competitive, and you can have both manicure and pedicure done for $60.

P.S. Unfortunately, none of the salons do good job as for cracked heels and old skin removal from feet. The best they can offer is chemical mask for feet (which won’t work in case of cracked heels), or razor.
